Good If you don't like playing Russian Roulette with your hair every time you see a haircutter First things first..you're cutting your hair with a vacuum. Get over it.I think at the core you want two basic things from a haircut1 It's the basic length you want2 It's even.If you don't like your haircut it's probably because it didn't meet 1 or 2. And Flowbee can do both of these things as well or better than your haircutter.Then there are the things the Flowbee won't do that your haircutter might It won't increase its prices after you've used it a couple times move out of town show up hung over get a new creative idea and chop a bunch of hair off without telling you or attempt to measure your hair length with some fingers and an eyeball. It will also not get impatient as you want to cut your hair a tiny bit look at the result and keep cutting a little more until you get it just right.That said with about 1/2 hour of Flowbee experience under my belt I'd say its designed for basic men's haircuts.
buy the old model if they have one. Used to have the old model broken down after over 10 years. Recently model only last for a few month a replacement has the same problem.
Flowbee Haircutting System I got my Flowbee in 1994. I use it on and off for 34 years at a time. I stop because I need to order new blades. I never did and I would start using it again. I looked up on line to see about ordering new blades. It says the blades come with 4 springs also. I do not have springs with mine so I emailed them to see if the new blades would work on mine. It took them several days to answer yes. I emailed them back to make sure since because I did not have springs with mine. Again after several days they said all the units have springs. I emailed back told them mine is 18 yrs old and he might not have been with the company that long. After several days I was told to throw away the springs. I emailed back to see if I could get my money back if the blades do not fit. It has been 3 weeks and I have not heard from them. They don't have the best customer service.
Great product! 20 year review I bought my Flowbee over 20 years ago and that baby is still cutting. I just used it and my hair looks like I came from the salon. I use it on my sweetie's hair too and he's always amazed how good it looks. I'm in my 60's and an entertainer so my hair is very important! It has never failed. I use it about one time in 3 months. I do have to look at the back in the mirror as I wear it short and want to make sure it looks good coming AND going. I fixed the little rubber connector with duct tape today but plan to order a new one as I can't be without the Flowbee. It still works great after all these years my kids laugh at me and my grandchildren think I'm from outer space but just think of the money I've saved. OK kids keep laughing.
well worth it I bought the flowbee from flowbee itself not amazon. But I have to say I love it. I have a little problem with the back of my hair still haven't got the hang of that yet. But my sides and top look great. Next month it will be a year since I went out for a haircut.
Flowbee 20 years and still cutting! I purchased my first and only Flowbee over 20 years ago. During this time only 2 parts have cracked the slotted angle and straight guides. The spacers are in the same condition as when purchased. With the Flowbee I have maintained a hairstyle that others have commented positively on and have gone to hairstylists to have the same stylepaying over $40 per haircut! I will at times use a thinning shears to create more of a modern appearance.I have paid various amounts for a professional haircut only to find the length of my hair longer on one side than the other no matter how expensive the cut was. I will ask for a trim in order to keep the same hairstyle by the original hairstylist only to have a version of the previous cut feeling like I did not get the value that was expected.With Flowbee I feel I am able to keep the same style same ideal length by using recording the spacers used. If there is a bad hair day because of my error not the flowbee it is not as upsettingI'm not out any money and I've learned a lesson for the next cut!Proper maintenance and storage is the key to many years of use.
This price TOO HIGH You can get the Flowbee system alone direct from flowbee.com for only $80 plus about $16 for shipping. I just bought the system WITH THEIR VACUUM I didn't want to use my good vacuum for this for just $130 WITH shipping.
Fantastic I love mine. I've had it for around 20 years. Still runs great.The main selling points for me are1 Very even all over. No hairs cut too long or too short.2 None of the millions of microhairs all over you like when a barber cuts your hair.3 Convenient. Cut your hair anytime you want.I got it when they were first being advertised on TV. The cost has come down quite a bit since then. It is not really a matter of saving money on haircuts as much as the 3 points listed above.It did not take much practice to get it just right. It is hard *not* to do a good job.
Flowbeeliever My girlfriend was very doubtful when I told her I purchased a Flowbee. The first word out of her mouth when I came out of the bedroom with my new haircut was WOW!After getting hacked haircuts for years I finally decided to take matters into my own hands. Best decision I've ever made on a haircut.
Where Do I Get The Super Mini Vac Fantastic product. Using it for 20 years.Several years ago I purchased the Flowbee Super Mini Vac the vacuum sold by Flowbee. Also great. I just went online to purchase another Flowbee Mini Vac and the Flowbee web site seems to not exist any more. I can't find any one else who sells it.Anyone know if or where the Flowbee Super Mini Vac can be purchased anymore?Any advice for which vacuum is good for the Flowbee as I've been using the one sold by Flowbee itself for the last 12 years but they don't seem to sell it anymore.

Just okay It doesn't seem to hold a charge very long. I leave it plugged in but after a few cans it already seems to be losing power. It works fine for me as I don't usually have a lot of cans to open.
It does the job and looks like W.C. Fields..Seriously it does. I bought this thing to replace my B&D cordless Ergo that finally bit the bullet and they don't make that model anymore or I would have replaced it.I have fallen in love with cordless openers. I do not have a lot of counter space so a big plugin model was out of the question.I bought this one in hopes it would work as well as the B&D. It does the job as well as the B&D did if not better except for one point. It's a lot noisier. I don't mind this aspect since generally no one is trying to sleep when I'm cooking.Overall I would give it a 5 star but I'm knocking 1 star off for the noise. But I'm adding another star because it looks like W.C. Fields.
Too hard for me Just packed this up to return. I got it because I have a bad hand & a manual opener was too hard to use. Well this is even worse. Even my husband struggled with it. You really have to press hard to get the blade to engage then it kept falling off the can.
Disappointed and miss my Gizmo!! This can opener is extremely difficult to get onto the can to get started and then is extremely loud once I finally get it on there. I had the Black & Decker Gizmo that lasted 67 years and tried to purchase another but much to my dismay it was not available anymore. I would NOT recommend this item.
Not worth your money This item broke before I got the message from Amazon to write a review. It got STUCK ON the can after using less than 2 weeks. Worked well to open first four cans but with difficulty getting it started. It is awkward. I had read this complaint in the reviews but didn't pay attention. Pay attention to the reviews or regret it like me.
Disappointed Timely delivery but rechargable batteries won't hold a charge.. It'll open about 3/ 4 cans then completely dies.. The little lever is a bit awkward too. Once you get the hang of it it's not so bad.. But I'd have to say the most frustrating thing is it needs recharging after practicallly every use.. Kind of defeats the purpose of it being cordless don't ya think?? Also very irritated when it dies while in mid cut if you try to plug it in to finish it still won't work until its been charged again.. Be sure to have an alternative method available.
2 ear plug opener This product works well but I suggest wearing ear plugs during use. The small size makes it easy to store.
can opener This can opener is hard to get hooked up on the can. It works good after that. When it runs out of battery power it will not work with the cord plug in. You have to wait till its fully charged again to use it. I was making dinner and it ran out of juice and wouldnt work. I had to find a old hand can opener to finish making dinner. So I wouldnt really say it's very good.
not worth it Just not worth it. Opening the box was easier than opening a can with this item. Save your money and get something else. It was sent back within an hour of it arriving.

Best HandHeld Vac Ever This little baby gets the job done! When I see the clots of dust hair and debris it picks up from my seemingly clean carpet I rejoice. And my truck cab is truly clean for the first time in years. Here are a few tips to get the most from your vac1. Resist the temptation to begin using this vac immediately. Charge the battery completely and discharge it completely three times in a row. Yes it takes time but it's worth it to prevent a degraded battery from memory loss.2. NEVER run the vac while it is being charged.3. Always clean out the debris and clean the filter after each use.I've been doing this and I get a solid fifteen minutes of powerful vacuuming every time which is all you could ask for such a device. Terrible product by a terrible company This is absurd. The charging instructions are ridiculously inconvenient and just to make it interesting they don't work. As you may have heard the battery doesn't hold a charge. I called the company and they tried to sell me another battery plus charge shipping for nearly the price of the vacuum again. I pointed out that only an insane person would do that and got them to send another battery. It was very tricky to put in correctly andguess where this is going. Yes I googled the idiotic instructions again followed them and again it just won't hold a charge. What a waste of time. Go ahead and buy one. Maybe you'll get one that by some accident actually works and then you can organize your life around its 16 charging cycle. Shark Mini Portable EXCELLANT SERVICE When I wrote a review wondering my mini shark came with missing accessories especially the CRAVICE TOOL. I was aslmost immediatly contacted by their Customer Service Dept. The gentleman who talked with me was very respectful I immediatly received the accessory tool and a few extras GRATIS. THANK YOU SHARK and EuroPro Operating Division. Battery I recently purchased this vacuum for all the little jobs cat litter stairs etc. I like the vacuum and the ease that it has when using. However the battery will not stay charged. It will last for about 1 flight of stairs and that is it. Then it has to charge for many hours again. I think I will have to purchase another one as I need a small one and this is not doing it. Awesome little vacuum! I've had my Shark hand vacuum for about 2 1/2 years now. I originally bought it to clean the stairs in my apartment because I was sick of lugging the big canister vacuum up and down the stairs Now I use it not only for the stairs but to quickly clean the carpets without having to drag out the big vacuum I am always amazed how much stuff this little thing picks up! I seriously use it about every 2 to 3 days and it still works like it was brand new The only negative comments I have about it are 1. that if it is not emptied out within a few minutes of use it becomes clogged up with cat hair and carpet lint. However I also view this as a positive because it's picking up so much stuff! 2. After about 10 minutes the vacuum loses its charge. Low On Suction Works okay on wood or tile floor but does inferior job on carpet or fabric. Roller does not turn on its own and has very few bristles. Forget trying to get cat hair off the sofa or the carpet. Cannot recommend this product. Decent but limited I've only had this product a short time so can't speak to the charge. Has great great pickup for pet hair. Wanted it for my car though and the crevice tool is tool is too short and fairly useless. A hose extension would help. Also the connection shape has changed from that on my old corded Shark. Can't use the accessories from that to make this more utile. I have about 10 of them. They work for about 3 days then give up. I have even gone so far as to seal the zipper closng with packaging tape. No luck. Now I have all these bags I have to periodically revacuum every couple of months. I don't overfill them I underfill. Great Idea if they really worked. I'd be happy if it stayed sealed for 6months. Minus 10 If possible! Horrible waste of money! I was moving across country. Bought these for saving space. as advertised. They are horrible! Out of about 40 not even 10 stayed vaccuum sealed for longer than 2 days! I did them over and over and over. They tore VERY easily. Not durable I bought the space bag to pack bedding on trips to the beach. After just one trip the bag would not stay sealed. It turned out that the wrinkles introduced when the air was removed from the bag caused holes in the bag. I figured it was a fluke and bought another. It did the same thing after just one trip. It is a good idea and may work for static storage but not for traveling. Terrible product seller not to be blamed! The seller was great but the product is terrible. Although I put the bags in a very safe place linen closet they only worked the first time the air was suctioned out. Since then the bags have failed to work keeping the air out serving no purpose. Not quite as advertised. If you want to save space using space bags you may or may not. I guess it really depends on the lot you get. Sometimes no matter what you do the air leaks out. Sometimes not. Don't waste your money trying to find that one perfect bag. Love it! I ordered the space bags and they are great and easy to use. They store all of my blankets and comforters easily under the guest bed. Forget it! GeeI've been thinking what kind of idiot must I be that I can't get these to work then I read some reviews We had mice get in our house and I had to clean every dang drawer and shelf in the house. They were coming in under the dishwasher make sure the connections to yours are sealed properly. I bought about 30 space bags to plasticize everything I had in storage. Only 3 of the bags held the seal and remained airtight. Fortunately I have the space to use the bags anyway but I sure wish they would stay compacted. Another product that is a good idea but is cheaply executed. I would be happy to spend much more for a product that works the way this is advertised. In future I will use garbage bags with air removed as some reviewers have suggested. As these bags are currently made they are not worth the money. So far so good! I really need something like spacebag to keep my winter close under my bed and I felt kinda worried when I ordered the space bag because of the poor reviews. They arrived yesterday and I tried them. I have to admit that it didn't save that much space we saw on the commercial but I feel good about it cuz it did help condense my close and save me the money of buying storage boxes. There were people saying the bag got torn easily. In my opinion the bag doesn't really look tough enough to carry around with heavy clothes in it but it's good enough to serve as storage bags which help keep the clothes out of dust when stored anywhere in the house. Therefore if you are moving with these bags my suggestion is to put them in some box or suitcase to carry them around. There were also reviews saying the bag didn't stay vacuumed. I don't know about that since I just packed my clothes in yesterday and they still stay tight today. It didn't bother me even if the bags didn't stay vacuumed since it already helped me packed my clothes under the bed. As conclusion this product didn't match what the commercial said about it but it is still a good product and it worth the money I spent. I live in the desert and thought this item could serve the multiple purposes stated purifying moisturizing freshening. Since I smoke in only one room of my house I bought two units one for the smoking room and one for the main living area. I tested one unit only in the smoking room for 5 days hopeful that I would notice a dramatic difference. I watched particularly for the 'cloudy water' to appear over the course of a day to indicate that contaminants mainly smoke and dust were actually being captured. Better Than Expected My aunt has one and I was kinda scared that it wouldn't do what it says. Well its much better than I expected. The dust level in my house is gone way down!!!! Yay!!! One of our family members has breathing problems and says this has helped so much. I Ended Up Buying Two! I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews but decided to try it because I don't have to mess around with replacement filters and the price was right. I am amazed by how well this product works! My husband smokes in his home office 13x15 and with the door shut you would never know anyone was smoking in the house. Within the office itself the air is clear. It worked so well we decided to get one for our breakfast room where we occasionally smoke. Even though the room is open to the kitchen it clears the smoke out of the air almost immediately. Great little filter We've had our Mini Max filters for about 3 years now. they still work just fine. the other reviewers are accurate you will need to stay on top of the water level in dry climates. add or better yet change out the water every day. cleaning is a snap. just add hot tap water no hotter or you'll melt the bowldon't ask just trust me & some vinegar & let it run for a while until clean. despite what some other reviewers have said the funnel/spout does come apart for easier cleaning. the funnel twists off the base if you need to do so.we started with 2 of these filter & bought 2 more. 2 of the motors quit working after 2 years & we tossed them. the 3rd one just quit last week but instead of throwing this one out i took it apart. i always wanted to because the dirt build up in the hood around the motor gets really bad after a while & there's no way to clean it with water or cleaners. so since this one stopped working i figured why not?the hardest part is getting the grey motor housing out of the green hood. 2 screws and 3 plastic clips that you can pull back to release the housing. its a pain but after about 510 minutes i got it out. 2 more screws & 2 more clips for the motors itself fairly easier & faster then 2 more screws for the on/off switch DO NOT loose the little grey plastic peg for the on/off switch!!!2 more little bolts to separate the motor into 3 parts. the spindle & 2 housing pieces.the motor stopped because of the crud build up. it almost looked like molasses. but after some WD40 an old toothbrush & a rag it looked new again. reassemble the 3 motor parts with the 2 bolts & tested just fine.we soaked the green hood & grey plastic motor housing overnight with hot water & vinegar & cleaned off all the crud & hard water build up & reassembled everything. The suction is not efficient. It leaves the floor wet. It does not remove stains very well. Can't Ask for More at this Price I received my Hoover power mop yesterday and so far it's pretty great. I had the Bissel Flip It for a year and it crapped out probably because I over used it the house we used to live in flooded every time it rained and it rains a lot in the summer in Puerto Rico! The Flip It was decent but it didn't do a great job scrubbing the floors the scrub brush attachment only grazed the floor so it struggled on the sticky stuff. Great mop This is a great tool for those of us with laminate or vinyl flooring. Simply spray solution run the mop back and forth a few times just like you vacuum. Then vacuum the dirty water up. The machine worked well on tile. It is so much better than a pad mop that just smears the dirt around. I would recommend this for anyone with kids or pets. Great for textured floors I have textured vinyl floors in bathrooms that get coated with hairspray. They needed extra scrubbing that a steam mop wouldn't do. This scrubber was perfect! Some people complained they had to run the machine too long to loosen dirt. Here is how I do it The machine has a trigger that allows you to apply the cleaning solution before the machine is turned on. I go over the floor and apply the solution and let sit for approx. 5 mins. Then I turn the machine scrubber brush on and go over the floor. Then I turn on the suction and suck up the solution and it works amazingly well. I was surprised at the dirty water collected in the used water receptical. There was plenty of power to do three 8 x 12 bathrooms on one charge. It was fast and easy to get going and very easy to clean and put away. The brushes stick down low enough to get into the lowered textured areas well. Buying Another One I bought this unit because I acquired a dog who is very stubborn. He would urinate frequently on the floor and mark his territory even if I let him out a lot. I bought this power mop because I was tired of mopping up the urine and then having to wring out the mop in a bucket of dirty water and urine. Plus this power mop has a clean water tank which I fill with water and vinegar. I can then vacuum up the accidents and clean the floor with the vinegar and water and vacuum it up. This sounds disgusting and he is much improved but he still has accidents once in a while and this power mop has been worth its weight in gold. Hoover H2510 Impulse Cordless Electric Power Mop I am very pleased with this product. The scrubbing brushes are quiet and thorough. The vacuum picks up the water quickly. The scent of the Hoover floor cleaning liquid is very pleasant. My vinyl kitchen floor and tile bathroom floor dried to a nice shine. Only one ounce of the cleaning liquid is needed per wash. The charged battery pack lasted through washing both floors with no problem. Hoover Hard Wood Floor Cleaning Fan This is my first review of a product so here we go I have owned a Hoover FloorMate since the first model was introduced and have loved them ever since. The idea of sloshing dirty water from a mop bucket around the floor seemed gross and pointless to me. Aren't you just more evenly distributing the dirt across the floor to whatever degree and frequency you change the mob bucket water? When I found the FloorMate with a cleaning solution tank and a separate dirty water recovery tank I bought it immediately. Seeing how extremely dirty the water in the recovery tank became after being suctionedup from the floor makes you wonder how clean any hard floor surface really is without using such a system.I live in a 12000 sq./ft bungalow with hardwood floors throughout and after getting a new puppy for Christmas I found that there was about 25% of the floor I could not reach without plugging the FloorMate into a different outlet whenever puppy Milla had an accident. Not a huge burden considering all of the trials of the modern world but I thought I would see if there was a cordless option. Enter the Hoover Impulse Cordless Power Mop! I have put special pet urine cleaner A MIRACLE MACHINE FOR ARTHRITIS SUFFERERS I have two kinds of Arthritis in my shoulders and mopping even with self wringing mops left me incapacitated for days until I purchased this little beauty. I think that those who gave it less than 5 stars may have expected more from this machine than it was designed to deliver and really needed its big brother the plug in machine. I have a Boston Terrier that was rescued from the woods and was never housebroken. The Vet estimated that she lived in the wild for almost 5 months of her approximately one year of life. I have saved enough money from having to buy paper towels since I have owned this to pay for the BioKleen Floor Cleaner and BacOut that I use in it. I use the citrus based products because I have birds and regular cleaner fumes kill birds. No you can't clean all the floors in a large house with it before the battery dies but you can plug the charger into an extension cord and get as much use as you want providing you don't mind the smaller swath that it takes. This little work horse even cleans up Parrot poop from the vinyl mat under my bird cages quickly and leaves it spotless. I just keep a small bucket with me to dump the pickup tank into and keep on cleaning. Don't expect to be able to speed clean. Just let it scrub evenly with moderate strokes. After cleaning I fill my cleaning solution tank with clean water and a squirt of Lemon juice and give everything a once over to make sure that I have all of the residuals off the floor and the lemon discourages dogcidents off the puppy pad. If you don't have a dog that misses the puppy pad 5 out of 10 times you probably wouldn't need to do this. No very good mop I have been very dissapointed in the performance of this mop. I initially charged te mop for around 24 hours before using it for the first time. Manufacturer recommends scrubbing an area around 3x2 feetthen vacume up the water then go on to the next area which is what I did. They claim a charge should last around 35 minutes. Mine lasted around 10 before the battery gave up the ghost. I plugged it back in for another 24 hours it actually took that long to recharge then tried again. This time it died after 13 minutes. Extremely embarrassed I even purchase this item! I should have given this 0 stars but I messed around and put one. This is my very first review EVER but I ALWAYS read reviews before I buy ANYTHING. Please please please do NOT waste your money. I read the reviews and still bought it. DON'T do it! Spend the money for a Hoover Floormate spin scrub.there is a reason it was invented. It was invented because this inferior mop was a good idea but needed to be MUCH improved. There is also a reason the mop is called IMPULSE. UMprobably not without some good old fashioned elbow grease.
