Keeps everything safe and organized I am very happy with this product. I bought many as we found carpet beetles in our house this spring! For those of you who do not know what they are they are worse than clothes moths. Basically we had to package and vacuum all the woolcontaining fabrics in our house sweaters suits socks hats scarves rugs etc. These have been great for keeping the hanging stuff protected. They are easy to use they take about 56 pieces of clothing or 34 jackets easily and have been holding vacuum very well over a month as of now. I recommend to protect your clothes and to save space as well. I would love to find the coat version which is a little longer for efficient storage of the longer pieces.
Better than expected I bought this bag to protect against moths and other critters. I have two varsity jackets and I didn't want holes in them. I have sadly lost a few wool garments to moths. I didn't want the same fate to happen with my jackets. I was advised to buy a cedar chest. However I cannot afford it so I decided to give this a try. So far it works well I threw a few cedar blocks in the garment bag and vacuumed the air out.At first I thought I was taken because the air kept escaping until I realized you have make sure all the caps on the valve and hanger are tight. Make sure the hanger is screwed on tight and there should be no problem. It's been almost a month and the garment bag is still vacuumed tight hanging In My closet.
Perfect for protecting clothes not it use I put jackets dresses suits etc. in these bags at the end of the warm and cold season. They save a lot of space in my closet especially when I'm not using my bulky jackets and coats in summer and also keeps them protected from dust. The only downside is the compression wrinkles the clothes but when you take them out just treat them with a steam iron especially if they're wool and they're back to normal.I also have suits and nice shirts that I don't wear often and I still put them in a bag but without compressing them to avoid the wrinkles. Even without the compression it still saves some space in my closet and protects my clothes. I bought many boxes and I'm very happy with them. Make sure to use plastic hangers because they're lighter and will accommodate more clothes but don't place more clothes than suggested because it'll be too much weight and the hanger will break down. Also be careful when putting the clothes inside. I do it with the bag on the floor. When I first got them I tried putting the clothes in while holding the bag upright and a piece of the hanger broke.
Useless Tried one bag. Vacuuming worked like a charm. Within a matter of minutes bag had reinflated. Returned the entire order. Thank heavens for Amazon's wonderful return policy.
saves some space it does save some space but the plastic hanger is very weak. does not support if the plastic is too heavy. i ended up putting in another just to help it hold up without putting too much pressure on the hanger than it came with.
Works Great! This is a really great product. It is amazing how much I can fit into this thing and then flatten it to a tenth of its original size.HoweverBe kind to the bag and its components mess with it too much or if you're rough it will stop working. I was a bit harsh with the suction hole on one of the bags and now it no longer works.
